About the Role:

<p>We are looking for a dynamic, high paced, and very skilled Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts. In this role you will drive the company sales strategy and lead the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue goals. This position requires a dynamic and experienced sales leader with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams, developing and executing strategic sales plans, and fostering strong relationships with customers and partners.</p><p><br></p>

What You’ll be Doing:

<ul><li>Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve company revenue goals.</li><li>Collaborate with executive leadership to set sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.</li><li>Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats.</li><li>Utilize data-driven strategies to optimize sales performance and achieve targets.</li><li>Drive consistent revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships.</li><li>Develop and implement sales processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.</li><li>Design and establish comprehensive sales processes from lead generation to closing deals.</li><li>Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent lead flow and conversion rates.</li><li>Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.</li><li>Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions that drive value.</li><li>Oversee contract negotiations and ensure customer satisfaction.</li><li>Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team</li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, professional development, and high ethical standards.</li><li>Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to team members.</li><li>Collaborate with CSM, marketing, product development, R&amp;D and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.</li><li>Communicate sales performance, challenges, and opportunities to the executive team.</li><li>Represent the company at industry events and conferences</li></ul><p><br></p>

What You Should Have for the Role:

<ul><li><em>Minimum of 10 years of experience in SaaS sales, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role</em></li><li><em>Proven track record of overachievement.</em></li><li><em>Experience in selling data products</em></li><li><em>Proven record in building Enterprise businesses from the ground up in start up companies with high-growth environment</em></li><li><em>Experience in both hands-on selling and sales management roles.</em></li><li><em>Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales team.</em></li><li><em>Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.</em></li><li><em>Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.</em></li><li><em>Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.</em></li><li><em>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.</em></li></ul><p><em>Nimble is an equal opportunity employer.
